Sports Therapy

Sports Therapy is using ones knowledge of the human body and applying science to treat physical injuries. Whether you are a casual or serious gym trainer, enthusiastic team sports player, or a professional athlete, at some point in your training journey you will develop an exercise or sports related injury.

Understanding how the body functions is our job. With great in-depth understanding of biomechanics we are able to see how an injury has occurred and what are the factors making it a recurring problem for you. This understanding is great when prescribing exercise to clients as we can always ensure that the training is safe and effective.

If you have developed an injury, we can bring your body back to health again.
How do we do this?

First we’ll do an initial assessment, then we’ll do physical tests and diagnose exactly what the injury is, then we will write up a prognosis of your injury and discuss the rehabilitation programme that we’ll need to put into action. Our job is to rehabilitate you and bring you back to full fitness.
